BMW Sales in Indonesia Up to 47 Percent



BMW Indonesia during the first four months of 2012, sales were up 47 percent over the same period a year earlier. Precisely, from January to April 2012, BMW has sold 680 units, while last year 461 units. Mostly, the sale is obtained from X1 which reached 153 units and Series-5, 209 units. The rest of the other models, X3, X5, Series-1, Series 3, Wsreri-6, Series 7, GT, Mdan Z4. This statement was made by Helena Abidin Director of Corporate Communications BMW Indonesia yesterday, on the sidelines of the launch of the first assembly X3 Indonesia.
 
One thing that is interesting, BMW also introduced a more vigorous diesel-engined models in Indonesia. In fact, for the X3, diesel engine variants are offered at lower prices compared to gasoline.

The same is true for the Series-5, yatiu520d and 520i. For the same engine capacity, the diesel version is more expensive than gasoline.

Nevertheless, for the X1, the diesel is more expensive. Because the different engine capacities, X1 petrol and diesel with a capacity of 1,800 cc 2,000 cc. Series-5, diesel (520d) sold Rp 778 million, while the petrol (520i) to Rp 798 million.
